Approved discovery

Leafline may list sources whose public documentation and catalog behavior support public-domain or openly licensed acquisition. Approval is source- and region-aware, can be revoked remotely, and does not guarantee that every item is lawful in every jurisdiction.

User-directed browser

The built-in browser goes only where you direct it. Leafline does not provide a piracy index, proxy publication files, merge unreviewed websites into approved recommendations, bypass paywalls, strip DRM, or promise that “any book” is available. The visible domain and secure-connection state remain part of the experience.

Import safety

Every downloaded file passes the same size, type, archive, traversal, duplicate, and parser checks as a file chosen from system storage. A successful download is not proof of rights or safety. Unsupported or suspicious files stay outside the Library.

Corrections and takedowns

Rights holders and source operators may report a catalog entry, license error, or source-policy issue to everydaylabstop@gmail.com. Include the source URL, affected item, rights basis, jurisdiction, and a reliable way to reply. Do not attach the publication unless requested through a secure channel.
