Importing

Use Import, the system file picker, Share/Open in, an approved catalog, or a user-directed browser download. Leafline accepts valid DRM-free EPUB, PDF, and CBZ files within its safety limits. A password prompt, DRM notice, format mismatch, suspicious archive, oversized file, or corrupt-file message means the publication was not added.

Missing or moved files

Leafline copies successful imports into protected app storage. If a file is missing after device migration, cleanup, or restore, use Repair from the book screen and choose the same lawful file. Matching content preserves local metadata where possible.

Reading and accessibility

Reader controls include table of contents, search where text exists, typography, themes, bookmarks, highlights, notes, and read-aloud where the renderer exposes text. Scanned PDFs may not support search or speech. Reader tools, Focus checks, and destructive dialogs are designed for screen readers and large text; report any unreachable control.

Ads and Plus

The free reader reserves a fixed banner area outside book content and may show an interstitial only at a safe break after both page-equivalent and time floors. Ads are suppressed during selection, notes, text-to-speech, first content, and unsafe transitions. Plus removes all Leafline ad placements. Use Restore Purchases with the same platform store account; Android and iOS purchases do not automatically transfer.

Focus and Reading League

Private Focus time stays on device. Competitive time is separate and may be pending, verified, or personal-only. Inactivity pauses League eligibility but never closes the reader. If a check is inaccessible or a session is adjusted, use the in-app appeal route. No exact book details are needed.

Useful diagnostics

Open Settings → Help and legal → Diagnostics. Review the redacted report before copying it. Include the support reference shown by a failed online action when available.
